'In my works I search, first of all, new and interesting aspects on space, perceptions, functions. Every building, even a small one can trigger great interest; every space can offer wonderful perceptions.'
In my works I search, first of all, new and interesting aspects on space, perceptions, functions. Every building, even a small one can trigger great interest; every space can offer wonderful perceptions.
I think that a plan has to be functional and inspiring at the same time.
A building must be a source of curiosity every time you see it or you enter its spaces.
The use of materials and spaces matters more than the costs or how big the construction is.
Architects are subdued to architecture, never the other way round: plans answer to the contexts’ needs and to the clients’ ideals so that the architect’s personality should disappear to give suitable room to beauty and space.
Architecture is a collective art: the project is for everyone, it should add value to the physical and social context.
When I start working on a plan I try to start point blank: this is the only option I have to find solutions otherwise undetectable.
Planning is an act based on optimism and sensitivity and we have to feel the “angel’s wings” inside all of us.
